The Castle “Villa Venturini” - given name later “Villa Gelsomini” ‘cause of jasmine, in italian, is the flower "gelsomino" - is a lovely and original Villa in liberty style, realized and built between the years 1909/1911 by italian architect Carlo Felice Donghi, commissioned by a venetian Cavalier (Cav.) Vendramini.

 

Total built area, including terraces, appliances, garages, is 530 sq. m. (5074 sq. ft) and 1.500 sq. m. ( 16.145 sq. f.) of a private garden park.

This amazing Villa is a  Castle  characterized by an ecletic liberty style, typical of Villas of 900’s century in Lido of Venice, including Hotel Excelsior, a few steps by feet, where the international Film Festival of Venice take place, every year, since the year 1932.

These are the distances from the most important place: Hotel Excelsior and private beach 3 minutes  walking; public Shuttle/bus, 1 minute; -pharmacy and grouchery 1 minutes, from Villa main entrance - public boat to Venice from Casino it's  only 3 minutes walking  away. Santa Maria Elisbeth square, the main arrival from Venice, it’s reachable by feet, by bus, or by bicycle in 5-10 minutes.
